Question:

How about guidance on the web, is there any available?

Answer:

Well, yes there is. Funny you should ask. Go here: juicefeasting.com

Question:

Could you have started the diet while you were working at the mine?

Answer:

No, not really, for a couple of reasons, the first 3 weeks of the juice feast is pretty restrictive in that you have to do an enema every morning to help flush all the toxins from your body, and working at the mine I was driving a 250 tonne truck, which I was basically on for 12 hours solid.

Plus there was a 2 hour commute in a bus too work at 6:12am, which would have meant me getting up at around 4:30am to do the necessary, plus make my juice for the day, and hope that I wouldn’t need to “go” again on the bus. In that first 2 weeks, I really needed to be within reach of a toilet during the mornings.
The other reason I couldn’t have done it at the mine was I was working shifts, 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off, so the night would have buggered up my body clock and routine, so another reason I couldn’t continue there.

Question:

If not, how long before you could have returned to work?

Answer:

I could have returned to work there I guess after the 92 days + a week or so? But that’s me, I suppose you could go back after the initial 3 week period, but I’m still having to do enemas every 3 days to make sure the toxins are leaving Sherryville.

Question:

What are your sugars like through the day?

Answer:

I measured my sugar this afternoon and it was 6.7. Which is pretty much what it was when I measured it during the day a few days ago. That’s a little higher than I’d like it to be, but at the same time, I’m expecting it to come down over the next 2 months.
