Day #92: Thank you and goodnight
Well here we are.
Man I can’t believe it. Tell me I’m not dreaming. This is just plain weird.
Prune day tomorrow.
My sugars this morning were 4.1
After getting my final batch of “juice only” ready I headed down to work. Around lunchtime I cycled into town, down to the hospital to get my HbA1C test done to cover the preceding 3 months, and find out what my new level is. I should have the results in a day or two.
I then headed to Jamocha’s on the bike to have a lime tea. I told them I’d be back on the last day of my juice feast, so I paid them a visit. My wife joined me while I was there and we swapped transport. She left me the car and, and she took the bike and brought our dog back, giving him a walk at the same time.
At dinner, I gave my son and wife a little thank you card each, and a small gift. To thank them for their patience, understanding and support over the last 3 months (and before) which has definitely been tested along the way.
My wife and I also took time out to finish watching The Outlaw Josey Wales. A good film, but longer than I remember it being when I was a kid. Maybe cowboys, outlaws, Indians and bounty hunters held my attention more back then? Probably.
So here I am now, tapping away at the keyboard, still not really believing that I’m here, I’ve done it. I’m going to head up to bed in a minute and it’ll be day 93. The 92 days is over.
This blog isn’t though. I may slow down, and not blog every day in the future, but I’ll be back tomorrow for sure with the feasting breaking prune extravaganza video
So, until then, I’d like to thank everyone who has commented, and just read this blog for their support, kind words and time. I have felt it, I assure you. And there have been times when I believe it’s made all the difference, just to know that other people around the world, as well as at home, are sending me their good intentions and support.
So thank you all.
‘night.

Great to see you standing proud (not in the erection sense!) at the summit - a fantastic achievement. Rebooting the body systems seems an awful lot harder than rebooting Windows, though hopefully needs to be done less frequently! Congratulations on an amazing achievement.
