Day #85: And now, in local news…
My sugars this morning were 3.9
I’m definitely feeling like I’ve got more energy now I’ve added the fruits to the juices. Not “run down the street and jump for joy” energy, but it’s much better. For example, before I went around to my neighbours’ house last night I actually did a few press-ups and some curls, upright rowing with the resistance bands to get the blood flowing.
My neightbour - the nurse couldnt believe what I looked like when she saw me up close, as she hadn’t seen me up close for a month or so, and she was kind of taken aback. I think I should probably do another little video so you guys can see the changes too. Her husband said that I reminded him of a teenager that hasn’t “filled out” yet
I’ll fill out over Christmas. Rock on.
Back to today…I’d previously emailed the local paper - the Free Press, and asked them if they were interested in my story, and they said they were, but with quite a few big stories and events going on, they had bigger fish to fry recently, local elections, rememberance day etc. etc.
Anyway, I got a call this morning from one of their reporters asking me all about what I was doing, and then they arranged for another reporter to come around and take some piccies - you know the kind, the guy holding a jug of juice smiling, standing next to his juicer. Tha kind of thing.
Apparently it’s going to go in this week’s paper, which is good, because I won’t be on the juice feast next week, well not just juice anyway. Bloody hell it feels weird to say / think / type that. Let me do it again:
I won’t be on the juice feast next week. Well, just Monday, and then it’s prunesville for me!
I am going to keep them informed as to how things are going though I think, if they want me too.
It was another nice day, very cold and crisp, but still no snow. And I didn’t get to experience any of it, I was stuck inside all day working, just got out onto the deck for a little fresh air stretch and that was it.
Well that’s it from me for now, I’ll keep you up to date with all the news that’s fit to print tomorrow.
In the meantime…
‘night
