Day #82: All work and no play makes Chris fancy a cuppa
My sugars this morning were 4.2 - Up from the last few days but still good. Maybe it’s because yesterday, I drank almost double what I have been drinking? I don’t know but it’s still good.
Today was pretty much a get my head down and work day unfortunately. I did manage to get out for a 5 o’clock tea with a couple of friends. That was a nice break and we had a good chat.
A quick walk to Overwaitea was a pretty damn cold walk to Overwaitea, really cold. There should be more snow on the way according to the forecast, and we need it. The last lost has pretty much disappeared already. On the plus side, we haven’t had to shovel the driveway yet, which is really nice, but I’m ready for the snow I think.
As I write this, I’m in the process of migrating a bunch of data for a client and it’s taking a while, it’s got to go all the way from Fernie to a data centre in Manchester, and it is late, so maybe the data is tired. The point being I thought I’d get this written, as I don’t know how long it going to take, it could be quite some time before it’s all done.
We’ve been invited to our neighbours’ house across the street on Sunday night for wine and cheese to celebrate here passing her nursing exam - which is great, but I’ll be juicing of course, so no wine and cheese for me. None for my wife either as she’s doing a raw diet gig week by week while I’m on this juice feast now, but we’ll go and enjoy the company and atmos.
So, that’ll about wrap it up for today, not much doing, but that’s life eh - it’s not all explosions, violence and epic struggles.
Well… maybe the odd epic struggle.
‘night.
