Day #53: Colonics, Macbook Pros and Videos… Oh my!
My sugars this morning were 4.5
Disclaimer, you might consider some of what follows to be a little graphic. It isn’t really, but is you’re a little fragile when it comes to “bottom talk” look away now. OK, you can look back now, just don;t read the next few paragraphs - skip to where it says “It’s OK to read from here love!”
Today was another interesting, and exciting day. I went for my colonic over in Cranbrook, BC - it’s about an hour away and…well, apart from the initial discomfort, it went well. I was reminded of that scene in Fletch where a doctor is giving him and anal exam with his finger, and Fletch asks “Er, doc are you using the whole fist?” and then starts to sing “Moon river” as the doc’s finger does the walking so to speak.
I actually nervously recounted that scene to the lady giving me the colonic. I was a babbling nervous wreck. Once the speculum was in though, it wasn’t too bad. A little uncomfortable at times (each time I was filled with water), but it was OK on the whole.
She actually said that mine was the clearest first colonic she’s ever given. It should be though - shouldn’t it. All we could see in the “viewing chamber” was the occasional green colouring. Now where on earth could that be coming from eh?
It’s OK to read from here love!
My wife rang me while I was in Cranbrook to let me know that my macbook pro had arrived! Yay! and that’s what I used to record the video above - the quality is a little ropey because it was converted to flash by seesmic, but I’m impressed by how easy it was to just get it going.
Well, I’m tired out for a change so it’s going to be an early night for me I think.
Tomorrow, me and my good lady could be heading to the States to pick up some herbal supplements and homeopathic supplies from the states (if they’ve arrived), so we’ll see.
On extra bit of info that I almost forgot, I added 3 little carrots to the juice today, as David Rainoshek mentioned that I should maybe start to add carrot juice, lemon juice, and blueberry juice to my green delight. And as I didn’t even make it to the juicer this morning before I needed a rest (watch the video above for an explanation) I thought I better add something.
I hope you enjoyed the video, and I mean what I say - thanks for reading and keeping up the support. It really helps!
‘night

Hey Stu,
As I type this reply on 20th November, I’ve lost about 20 kilos, or 45 pounds.
I now weigh 60 kilos, or 132 pounds, so that’s about 9 stone 6lbs
