Day #52: What’s up Doc?
Â
My sugar this morning was 4.5
Today was always going to be an interesting today. So it tomorrow too, actually, but let’s start at our feet and work through the field shall we.
OK, so today I had the follow up appointment with my doctor about the test results. Â He’s a good guy and I actually know him outside of the doctor / patient scenario so we get on well.
The Ferritin / HaemoChromo issue:
Basically, we’re going to do more tests. He said that even though my results cam beack higher than the normal range, they weren’t as high as he would expect if I actually had HaemoChromo. So the next step is to get the same test done again, and also we’re doing the genetic / hereditary test on the genes to make sure.
I went down to the hospital after the doc’s and got the test done straight away, so I should have the results back from Vancouver on the hereditary test in a couple of weeks. The local test, for Ferritin only takes a day or so.
Now, to my other doctor, or guide - David Rainoshek, co head honcho over at juicefeasting.com.
He emailed me today with some interesting thoughts and guidance on my energy levels and HaemoChromatosis. I’m going to get confirmation from him on a couple of things, but one thing he’s suggested is that I can introduce carrot juice, lemon juice and even juiced blueberries to my green juice!
Now I want to make sure that I can, before I go ahead, so I asked him to double check, but that’d be a great lift for me I think. He also suggested that it might be time for me to come off the feast! (Even bigger wow!!!) if I’m not overweight. Well I’m not overweight, for sure - I’m around 140lbs - that’s 10 stone or around 63kg and I’m 5′10”, but the thinkg I’m worried about on that score is stopping before my cellular structure has regenerated sufficiently.
I don;t want to have some so far, and then stop, only to have been weeks away from the necessary time period for completelt healthy cellular regeneration. It’s quite an investment I’ve made so far, so I’m pretty reluctant to just stop right now… We’ll see. Obviously I’ll keep you informed, and who know - I may or may not need to change the name of the blog?
Like I say, an interesting day all round. And tomorrow? I’ve got myself a colonic hydrotherapy session to look forward to - no shit! (Geddit)
That will be interesting as I’ve never had one before, and maybe I won’t ever want one again, but I might as well go for it while I’m doing this marathon cleanse eh.
OK, enough from me for today, I’m going to head off to bodkins and get some kip ready for “close up” tomorrow
‘night.
