Day #43: Skinny Chief Sitting Bones

My sugars this morning were 4.3, But I just measured it a minute ago and it was 8.5, that’s higher than expected and actually out of the normal range too. Hmm. Not sure what to make of that.

It was a weird day today, Thanks giving monday, but I worked and had to go out at one point, and everywhere was dead. it felt like a Sunday - still does really.

Went for a walk later on in the day with my wife and out dog. It’s getting pretty chilly out there now, but in a good way - so long as it’s dry I don’t mind cold, although I am feeling the cold more now I’ve got less fat on me.

Oh yeah, and today I actually felt, for the first time, my sitting bones on the chair in the dining room. Meaning that even my ass is getting smaller. Damn!

Well I’m going to go off and try not to think to hard about the 8.5 reading I just took and get some sleep ready for tomorrow.

A domani.

Hi Chris, have enjoyed reading your blog, thanks for sharing your journey and hope your sugars sort themselves out…just wondering if you are drinking any fruit at all or only greens/celery/cucumber etc? Cheers Rachel

Hi Rachel, thanks for your comment - much appreciated. I’m only drinking the greens right now, and I think that’s the way it’s going to be until the end, no fruit juice for me yet. I get the feeling that my body’s going through some kind of change right now, so I’m not overly worried by the 8.5 last night, I just hope it’s no a regular occurrence.

Thanks for reading!
Chris.

Happy Thanksgiving! Your journey and your blog remind me I have much to be thankful for! I know others who experience the cold differently now too because of their diet. Fascinating. And I gotta hand it to you — Horton’s to get goodies for the fam — you are a cool dad. And so happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Carpe diem.

Thanks Beearawfoodie.

Happy thanksgiving back to you. As for being a cool dad, they’ve had to put up with plenty of grumpy - Oscar the grouch dad too :)

Thanks for your comment and for reading,

Chris.
