Day #22: Fourteen already!
It was my son’s birthday today. He’s now 14.
I had a chat with him yesterday about what to do about going out for a meal, as we usually go out for a meal when it’s one of our birthdays, and I told him, that I’d be happy to go and just drink my juice if he wanted, or if that’d make him feel awkward then I would understand and not go, he could just go with his mum. Well I left it with him and today he decided to stay at home and have a homepade pizza with his mum.
I joined them for the pizza (I obviously didn’t “join them” join them), but I was there. It smelt absolutely delicious - my wife makes good pizza. Good most things actually.
Anyway, my sugar this morning was 4.5 - good stuff.
I almost forgot, I went for a nice cup of Ruby Chai at the new Organic cafe again “Jamocha’s” with my friend. He had (what I can only imagine was) a lovely tomato and basil soup too.
All in all, a pretty good day, I felt a little weary realier on in the day, but as the day progressed I seemed to feel like I had more energy. I think I see a pattern maybe?
Oh well, I’ve been working on customising the theme for this site tonight too, so I’m up way later than I should be.
